Emotional aims:Students learn to love the nature.Students can improve the confidence of learning English, and not afraid of speaking English in class; (3)教学过程 Teaching procedures: Step 1 Warm-up and Lead-in Greet students as usual and invite students to enjoy the song In a Nture Park. And ask students to name the song by giving some guidances. Step 2 Presentation and Practice 1.Words learning and practice Show students the picture of a nature park, and ask them to describe things in picture, then introduce the new words. While teaching the new words, the teacher will use some actions and words to show the difference between river and lake, mountain and hill. After teaching these words, the teacher can ask student to read the words in different ways, like read it twice or read it one by one. Then teacher can invite students to play a game "Let me try" to practice the words. 2.Sentence learning and practice The teacher asks students to describe the nature park with the learned sentence pattern “there is...”, then guide students to identify the things in the picture by using the target language “ Is there” and guide them to answer it correctly. After learning the sentence pattern, the teacher can play a game “Detective game” to ask and answer with the target sentences in pairs. Step 3 Production Ask students to design an ideal nature park for in groups, and then invite some students to stand in the platform with their design. Some other students are to guess by using the target language “Is there...” .The one standing on the platform can only answer by “Yes, there is.” Or “No, there isn’t”. Step 4 Summary and homework Summary: Invite one of the students to be "a little teacher" and lead others to review what we have learned together.
